Privacy level for Custom connector
I'm developing some custom connectors that get data from RestAPI.
What I'm wondering about is when I use a custom connector that gets the data and settings refresh on the PBI service through the on-premises data gateway. When I set the privacy level to None, Is Power BI automatically setting a default privacy level for the custom connector based on the authentication type the custom connector is using?
If the authentication type I use is anonymous, will it automatically change to Public?
I encountered the problem of not being able to add a data source to the portal when setting privacy level to None. Microsoft support judged that it might be because my custom connector doesn't support level None
In the custom connector it is possible to implement logic so that it can support multiple types of privacy levels or default privacy level?
I tried looking for related articles but there don't seem to be any.
If anyone knows information about this issue please let me know.
Thank you!

Hi huongthu ,
To use non-certified custom connectors that you or another party develop, you must adjust your Power BI Desktop security settings to allow extensions to load without validation or warning. These extensions can ignore privacy levels and handle credentials.
