## Prior 4 week average based on employee ID and filtered week ending date.

Hi team, I could use some help. I'm trying to get the average for the 4 prior pay period by selecting the week end date and it should be the average the each employee. Below is how I broke it out in Excel. I tried diferent filters (allexcept) using the employee ID and using the index number. Can't get it to met both requirements.

@Geo_Nelson , Join the date with a date table and there you can have these columns

Have these new columns in Date Table, Week Rank is Important in Date/Week Table
Week Start date = 'Date'[Date]+-1*WEEKDAY('Date'[Date],2)+1
Week End date = 'Date'[Date]+ 7-1*WEEKDAY('Date'[Date],2)

Have these new columns in Date Table, Week Rank is Important in Date/Week Table

Week Rank = RANKX('Date','Date'[Week Start date],,ASC,Dense)
OR
Week Rank = RANKX('Date','Date'[Year Week],,ASC,Dense) //YYYYWW format

Now you can have a measure like

Last 4 weeks = CALCULATE(sum('Table'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Week Rank]>=max('Date'[Week Rank])-4 && 'Date'[Week Rank]<=max('Date'[Week Rank])))

You can group data by emp id or use filter, it should work
