Previous & Next Buttons

bmar  I love the idea of prev/next buttons but my brain can't currently work out how to achieve it.

You could have a slicer that lets the user pick the page number, and that will limit what names are shown in the drop down. They'll still need to pick a new name, it's not as seamless as just clicking the next button. 

I've mocked this up using Year and Month/Year, where Year is the page number and month/year is the name list in your case: 

To get it to work, you need to edit interactions on the slicers to turn off interactions for the PageNumber slicer when something is selected in the name slicer. 

otherwise, as you say, using bookmarks is very static, so you'd need to create a bookmark for each page, similar to this post here: Power BI – How to do Pagination in Power BI Reports - FourMoo | Fabric | Power BI
