Click on your table, go to the Format tab and click on Edit Interactions and turn off filtering by using the "none" icon (circle with a line through it) for all the other visuals on the page.

Turning off interactions with other visuals helps most of my problem, but is there a way to prevent a user from highlighting a line in the table? Sometimes they accidently click a line in a table and get confused when the rest of the table grays out. Is it possible to make the table completely non-interactive?
