Hi all,
is it possbile to turn off summarize second column after drilling up first column in matrix or just exclude second colmn and just drilling up only the first one?
For example let's say that I have table with these columns: Date (datetime)/ Plan or Reality (Text) / Number of products on store (number) / Sales (number). Plan or Reality field just say that the values in Number of products and Sales are planned or done in reality. So we can compare plan vs reality in visual.
I need a matrix table like this:
I tried to put Date (hierarchy) column as a first column in columns of visual and Plan or Reality column as a second one. Number of producst and Sales in Values. But I want to drill down/up Date hierarchy column but if I drill it up by clicking on arrow of visual, it will just summarize plan with reality together.
Is it posiible to drill only date field through hierarchy some way to still show plan and reality and just summarize and show sums of this two groups? Or I need to take source table in different way to make some similar but another build of matric visual?
Thanks for any tips!!
We want to help you but you have not gievn a clera description of the problem.
Please can you included a small example of the input tales and the desired output.
Preferbaly as tables and not images, so we can import the data straight into PBI toc create an example.
Thank you for quick reaction.
For simplyfy... I have table like this:
Drilled visual like this:
And what I need is to (dinamicly after user drilled up) get something like this:
I know, that I can just delete Month from Date hierarchy, but i need to have both and user-specific choice of driiling up/down.
Thanks!
Hi @VitHorak
Do you mean when you click the button inside the red circle, then you want the matrix to change from picture 1 directly to what it looks like in picture 2?
