Prevent interactivity with Visuals

I have a number of charts and other visuals in the report. How can stop any interactivity with my visuals? What's happening is when I click on a chart for example the columns are getting highlighted/...

    Ah sorry, I misunderstood the first question.


    I actually don't think it's possible to remove a users ability to highlight data in the visual itself. What you could do as a workaround I guess is to create a shape with 100% transparency over the visual so that it "blocks" the ability to select anything there. It is a bit tedious, but could be a way forward for you.

TomasAndersson I tried that. My test is very simple. I open the report, I click on empty space, then click on the chart. The column gets selected.
