Preserve historical data within Power BI File

Hi,

My client wants to be able to keep more than 3 months of summary data but the underlying SQL Table is huge so keeping a years worth of detail is not cost effective.  Is there a way in Power BI or Power Automate to take data in Power BI and move the data to a new summary table (within the desktop file)?

I do the need the detail for the past 3 months so I can't just change the SQL query to aggretate things for 12 months.

When the data refreshes each month, I was hoping to take the output, summarize it and then save it.  Not sure if this is possible but figured I would give it a shot.
