Preparing Traffic Count Data in Excel for PowerBI

Hello Community!

 

I would like to visualise bicycle traffic count data in PowerBI. However, I have troubles bringing the data from Excel into PowerBI.

 

What I have is:

  • A dozen of Excel Sheets for different locations.
  • Each one contains sub-locations (e.g. street side)
  • Information about age group (School vs. Adult) electric bike (Yes), number of pedestrians
  • Time (15min time frame)

 

Does anyone have an idea how I have to prepare the data in a way that PowerBI can read the infromation?

I appreciate any tips and tricks you can provide!
