Premium per User License
Hello. I have a Premium Per User License, but I think you have to switch to a Fabric License. Does anyone know how to do it? What does the new License cost?
Thanks a lot.

Hi - It's advisable to consult with your Microsoft account team or a certified partner to receive guidance tailored to your organization's specific needs.

Hi Syndicate_Admin,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
If you have a Premium Per User (PPU) license, it cannot be automatically converted into a Microsoft Fabric license because Fabric uses a different licensing model based on capacity (F SKUs).
- So to switch to a Fabric license, purchase a Fabric capacity license from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or from Azure Portal, starting from F2 SKU and scale up based on performance needs
- Assign the Fabric capacity to the workspace in power bi service --> Admin Portal --> Capacity Settings, based on the usage keep or remove the PPU license.
- Additionally, I recommend reaching out to your Microsoft account team or a certified partner for guidance tailored to your specific business requirements.
