Powerapps Visual- No Data in PowerBIIntergation.Data
- 4 years ago
Try this
- start with a fresh Power BI Desktop
- Help ... Sample Data ... Load
- Add Country, Sales and Year to a table visual
- change the visual to a PowerApps visual
- authenticate and let PowerApps do its thing
You end up with an automatically added gallery
Save and share
Back in Power BI change pages, change back, then select existing app
Pick your app, and you're done
Still not works.
Appreciate anyone can give me a clue about the possible solutions

This isn't even close to the solution. That issue still exists

Hi there,
I ran into this issue 2026 and just updating that the issue occurred when I was trying to connect to power apps from power BI DESKTOP. If you open the same power BI application on the webapp in editor mode (once the application is published to a fabric environment), you can simply add the power apps window into your power BI report, click create new and the integration works.

Hi lbendlin,
I'm sorry but I don't understand what do you mean. If it is possible, can you maybe screenshot or record a video of how you do it ? Because for now, I think the steps you suggest is exactly the same as wizardball. I have this problem for a couple of days and just stumble upon your post. Thank you very much

did you follow the steps I listed?
- MinhTam192 years agoNew Member
I followed it exactly but now I know where is the problem. At the moment, there seems to be some problems with PowerBi Desktop so it didn't work. I did as you with with PowerBI Service and it works now. Thank you a lot

I have an embeded power app that had successful passing of power bi data and then I made an edit, by starting the edit in power bi, which i have done dozens of times. And now the data does not transfer in the live power bi report anymore.

JUST IN CASE THIS HELPS ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You need to publish your desktop powerbi report online, then edit it in the online service, then in the online service add the powerapps visual and create your visual from there!!!
IT WILL NOT TRANSFER THE DATASET FROM PBI DESKTOP TO POWERAPPS IF YOU CREATE THE VISUAL IN THE DESKTOP VERSION!!!
Good luck!!
