PowerFlow button exports PDF but cannot open it

Hello,

 

I built a button in my power bi report that emails the paginated report to a user. The flow is running without any error. But when I get the email, the pdf cannot be opened. Could you please check my flow and indenfy what is wrong with it? Thanks

    Hi, bojaboja 

     

    According to your description, when you use Power Automate Flow button exports PDF, but cannot open it, you can try the following methods to solve your problem:

     

    1.Check that the content attached to the e-mail is the binary data of the PDF file, if the content is set incorrectly, the file may have been corrupted.

    2.Make sure that the service account running the stream has the required permissions to generate and access reports.

    3.Run the stream test and check the output of each step to ensure that the data is passed through the stream correctly.

    4.Check that the problem is not in the email client by trying to open the PDF on another device or a different application.

     

    If the above methods do not work, you can try to check whether the background data is transferred properly when you open the PDF file on the web side, feel free to ask anything about this problem.
