PowerBi System error with bookmarks

Hello everyone, looks like I found a sytem error within powerbi.

I'm trying to have a bookmark that will hide a navigation panel and have a bookmark to make it reappear. The plan was to have a button to action it (show) and then hide it (Hide). However, when I click on the eye to hide it, it hides it for SHOW and HIDE. It won't let me program the bookmarks. Has anyone else had this issue, figured I would put it here before advising Microsoft of the bug/error. Also if there is a more efficient way of displaying filters with buttons please advise if you can.

Make the navigation pane visible and right click the "Show" bookmark and select update. This will set your bookmark to show the current state of the report (showing the navigation).

  • Unfortunately, that does not solve the problem. It really seems like there is a system/coding error within the programming of Power BI. Everytime I try to program the bookmark, the settings are not saving. Data is unchecked and it is only for the selected visual.
