Hi,
This issue has popped up today and everything was going smoothly till Friday last I checked.
We have a PowerBI dataset shared by a user which resider in their "my workspace" and build permission is extended to all the users it has been shared with. Recently we started the migration from PowerBI datasets to snowflake directquery, so as a part of testing process we were keeping the number side by side from both data sources to verify the numbers coming from snowflake. This was going on quite well since may till Friday but since today, PowerBI desktop is not allowing me to refresh the data and when I try to add PBI dataset along with snowflake dataset, the prompt says to convert the connection to directquery and then not allowing me to do it. Below are the snapshots of errors:
PowerBI desktop refresh error
Connection change error from live to directquery
Hi @Vaibhavp
It seems it couldn't reach workspaces.
Please, refer to this entry and see if it helps: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Community-Blog/Unable-to-connect-to-Power-BI-Service-datas...
Thanks @mlsx4 for sharing but the above situations are not applicable in the case I mentioned.
