Hello!
I have a data set that is filled with Start Lat, Start Long, End Lat, End Long, Start TimeStamp, End TimeStamp, and a Unique Identifier for each row of data. I have been trying to plot this data in Power BI so I can see each trip in the data set and also have the trip pair (Start Lat and Long/End Lat and Long) individually colored. I have been able to plot all the points at the correct lat long location, but I can’t find a way to integrate the TimeStamps or the Unique Identifier. So my question, can I plot this data on a map in Power BI and color coat each trip? (I hope I said that clearly enough)
Hi @Travish,
I'm not very clear about "integrate the TimeStamps or the Unique Identifier", would you please provide a screenshot to clarify your requirement?
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
@Travish I came across similar issue some time ago. Power bi maps are great but unfortunately at the present you can't connect points on them. I had to use R script visual to be able to do that and have also done a blog post on on it. You can check it out here. Please note R script visual are only supported in power bi desktop atm and if you happen to know and use R please vote for my idea to have full support for R visual in power bi service.
