PowerBI -how to join 2 tables and get all unmatchedrecords from tab1 and unmatched records from tab2

Hi, i am trying to join two tables and end result be unmatched records from both tables.Please help with the solution at the earliest. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Nandhini07,

 

You can do this in Query Editor mode.

 

Sample table.

Table1                                                           Table2

1.PNG          2.PNG

 

Merge (Outer Join) these two tables as a new one.

Expand the tableand apply filters.

Result.

Not to Necropost, but you can now do Left/Right Anti join in the query merge menu, and get unmatched rows.
