PowerBI duration calculation! please help me!

PLEASE HELP ME

I have duration column in my data and I want to calculate total duration, total duration by assignee and by different step names.

but when I come back to my report overview it is shown as decimal number and I cannot calculate anything! 

I try different calculations but when I try to apply different filters or divide to diffrent breakdowns it is not working 😞 please help me!

Please see this article. The conversion to decimal is actually a good thing.
