PowerBI desktop issue parquet.document

Hi Team, 

I am using a 64 bit windows 7 lap and have a older version PBI tool. i am now facing a issue and unable to perform any operations in PBI desktop. On clicking apply changes, I get the same message "(64, 16)-(64, 32) The name 'Parquet.Document' doesn't exist in the current context." 

i also tried updating the desktop to latest vesrion and it also has a issue. 

kindly help me resolving the issue at the earliest. attached screenshot for reference.

Hello @AJCPowerBI, and thank you for starting a conversation in the Desktop Forum.

Considerations and limitations:  You are facing more than an issue digesting a Parquet File,

in that Windows 7 is retired, and that Power BI Desktop is no longer supported on Windows 7. 

Recommend using a client version of  Windows, such as Windows 10 or later as a starting 

point in troubleshooting the issue.
