    Hello AJCPowerBI, and thank you for starting a conversation in the Desktop Forum.

     

    Considerations and limitations:  You are facing more than an issue digesting a Parquet File,

    in that Windows 7 is retired, and that Power BI Desktop is no longer supported on Windows 7. 

    Recommend using a client version of  Windows, such as Windows 10 or later as a starting 

    point in troubleshooting the issue.
