PowerBI desktop Logging out
Hi everyone
Im using PowerBI desktop with my univeristy email , i have a free license , it works for few minute or an hour then again asks for logging in , even if i already am. Annoying mid session, anybody got a fix?

Clear your Power BI credentials from Windows Credential Manager and sign in again. This usually fixes the recurring logout issue.

Check with your university IT if Power BI access is officially supported
Keep Power BI Desktop updated
Log in first at app.powerbi.com before opening Desktop
Try disabling “Use my default browser for web login” in Desktop settingsHi Onkarr, since you are using a university account, there is a possibility that your IT admin has set a 1-hour signout policy. You can ask them to increase the timeout limit.
Since this process will take time, in the meantime, you can continue your development in Power BI Desktop with a personal account or without a user account.
