PowerBI: Use filtered table as source to a new visualisation?

I want to use a filtered table (which has been filtered by the controls in a visualization in Power BI) as the data source to a new visualization in Power BI. How is this done?

You may take a look at Slicers in Power BI, Add a filter to a report and Calculated tables in Power BI Desktop.
