PowerBI Template Refresh Error pbit
Hello Everyone,
I am encountering some issues with using some PBI templates. Whenever I open my template for the first time, it shows a reshresh error as if it was connected to a datasource (it's like a ghost source that I can't see). This does not allow me to develop dashboards with a live connection!
The error message disappears after I click "refrech now"
Any help is much appreciated!

Sorry,I didnt explain clearly before.
Based on my understanding,as you are using a live connection,it means that there is no actual data loaded in the pbit file,but your file contains some calculated objects which require the actual data,that's why you get the refresh notification.

Yes,as power bi desktop needs the credentials for the templates,check the reference below:

Thanks for your reply, but I'm afraid I do no understand what you mean.
Do you mean that PowerBI desktop needs credentials to open the existing templates? If yes, I am already signed in and I still get that error message.
