PowerBI Slider Slicer

Does anyone know how to get rid of the start time and end time tooltip on a slicer in slider mode. My data category is whole number ans there seems to be know tooltip setting to turn it off. I have t...

Hi Jamestoz1010  - In Power BI, when you're using a slicer in slider mode, the tooltip showing the "start time" and "end time" (or min and max values) can be distracting, especially if you're dealing with whole numbers or other types of data where these time-related values aren't relevant.

Unfortunately, there is no direct setting in the slicer itself to disable the tooltip when using the slider mode.

You mentioned that you've tried using a JSON theme. While Power BI's theme settings do not offer full control over slicer tooltips specifically, you can influence some visual properties through themes.If you can switch your slicer from a slider to a dropdown or list slicer

I recommend submitting a feature request to Microsoft Power BI through their Power BI Ideas page

    I agree with Super user. This shutdown feature is not decentralized. There is also no relevant function to close it in the officially provided theme json schema:

    If you really need the feature, you should propose it in the Ideas forum, get more votes, which will make it possible to roll it out in the next version.
