PowerBI Report - Summary Page with No RLS

Hi ,

I have a powerBi desktop report, where I have used RLS on different roles. However, I have a main Page calle d"Summary" that shows the overall performance of all directorates (visuals like Monthly performance of all directorates), overall rating by all directorates. I want this summary page to have no RLS for any users. means anyone viewing this particular summary page should not have any restriction on this page. How do I go about it

Hi, @awsiya

Thanks for the reply from @lbendlin , please allow me to provide addition:

You can create a separate report for the summary page, or you can create a separate Power BI report for the summary page that you want to be unrestricted. This report is not configured with RLS, allowing all users to view the same data.

Or embed a summary report in the main report, and then you can use the Power BI service to embed the summary report as a link or button in the main report to open the summary report. This approach allows users to access summary information without restriction while protecting the rest of the data with RLS. You can check the following limk:

Create buttons in Power BI reports - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Add another table to your data model that has the data in aggregated form. Make sure the table is not wired to the RLS dimensions.

Use that table on the summary page.
