Column charts can be useful to display numeric data. If categories as less you can use a Column chart to have it display like this-If you have more categories to show, the you can even consider using stacked bar graph.
Yes it is always a good practise to add Chart title for your charts so that it becomes easy to understand the context of the data.

The donut chart would look more presentable if you can include the categories into a single chart.
Because that serves as the whole point; to differentiate the distrubition on various categories. A singlr donut chart for a single category is not informative and doesnt serve its purpose. If you would like to show single KPI per category you can instead choose a card visual per category.
