This is a very strange event that I don't know how to troubleshoot. I have a query that returns 1 row in this workbook. There are 3 other queries that return over 1M rows across 3 other queries. Those 3 work fine. I can refresh just fine.
This 4th query that returns 1 row, whenever I run it, it crashes my entire server. Like, machine is off crash. If I take the exact Sql and run it in SSMS (same machine where I'm building my PowerBI report) query runs in 1 second. If I remove this query from the PBIX file, and just let the other 3 queries refresh, report runs just fine.
This may be boyond most of us here, as this is a server admin problem. I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction. I'm not seeing any issues in the event logs other than, the machine shut down unexpectedly....Obviously.
Hi @dbmru
Based on my test,I cannot reproduce the same issue.I would suggest you re-install the latest version and try again. If it is not your case, you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
