PowerBI Pbix and Excel File Size Limit?
What is the maximum file size limit for publishing a report to PowerBI?
I use desktop version of PowerBI. As per recent refresh of data, the size of my pbix file is 200MB, and the back-end Excel data has 3 files (85MB + 200MB + 50MB = 335MB). I am unable to publish the pbix. What's the limitation on pbix and back-end data file?
Also, does the back-end Excel file (335MB) has any impact on pbix size while uploading? I mean, Does it publish the pbix as 200MB in total? or publishes 200MB (pbix) + 335MB (excel) together, which makes 535MB?

You publish only PBIX without any additional data like back-end source. Just look at file size of PBIX.
For a workspace within Power BI Free or Pro account limit is 1 GB per PBIX file. See details - https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-service-may-update-file-size-increase-to-1-gb/
For a workspace assigned to Power BI Premium capacity it is 10 GB - http://www.eweek.com/enterprise-apps/microsoft-raises-power-bi-premium-dataset-processing-limit-to-10gb
If you not able to Publish a report to Service then please post error message and/or screenshots here.

You publish only PBIX without any additional data like back-end source. Just look at file size of PBIX.
