PowerBI Parameter

I am converting a SSRS report into power Bi and want to show this parameter in powerbi to the user to get data they add. I created parameter and added in advance editor. So what can be done to show parameter so the user can add the value and see results ?

 If you want the users to be able to type in a value, maybe try something like this:

If you want them to select from a list of values, the standard slicer visual will work.

The report is loading data based on the parameter passed to the stored procedure which then retrieves data from the database. It is not possible to add the list of students in listed values as the list keeps on growing. I am using Stored procedure with import query option to get data from SQL Server.
