PowerBI Map How to add click event to navigane other Url.

Hi All,

 

If any having please suggest in PowerBI "Map" How to add click event for the map bubble to navigane other Url.

did anyone find a solution to the tooltip disappearing before being able to click the URL

You could create a report tooltip page .

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-tooltips .

what is a map bubble? Are you referring to a tooltip?  And which map visual are you using?

Yes ,actually when user click on tooltip of powerbi map I need to redirect user to other website.But I am not able to achieve this.

Actually I am showing user names by location in map tooltip when I click on it I need redirect to respective user web site.

 

Please suggest on this.

I would create custom tooltip pages in such a scenario, but I don't know if your particular visual supports custom tooltips

Thanks for the reply.

Actually i am creating one dashboard in with Map in powerBI showing diffrent regions by location wise.Requirement is when we click on "map page bubble" i need to redirect to some other url. Attached screenshot kindly help me how can i redirect to particluar wesite once user click on map region.

see attached for an implementation. Navigation is iffy as tooltips are not really designed for interaction.

The Problem in this solution is that the tooltip is instantly disapperaing when interacting with it, the tool tip should be constantly available
