Hello Guys,
Quick question, if I make a MultiDimensional Model on Visual Studio which later is fed to an Analysis Services Server on a SQL Database 2016 and use Directquery on PowerBI to connect to it, will the manytomany relationship work? From what I have been reading I think this will not be possible, but might as well ask.
Another thing if I develop the model on SSAS Multidimensional, my measures will have to be written in MDX, correct?
Thanks!

HI @Anonymous,
>>Another thing if I develop the model on SSAS Multidimensional, my measures will have to be written in MDX, correct?
Current many to many relationship not works in power bi, you should rebuild these relationship by many to one relationship.(maybe you need to use temporary table to achieve this)
For your measures who written based on M:M relationship, they not available in power bi desktop.
