PowerBI Desktop dataset refresh/transform data/file selection not working

Hi!

From this morning in PowerBI Desktop I cannot manage to refresh (both the whole dataset or a single table), open the transform data section or the file section (to see the file options). I push the buttons but they are totally unresponsive. 
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall PowerBI from the Microsoft download page, with no success. 
What could it be? How can I solve the issue?

EDIT: it's a common problem, not occurring only on my PowerBI desktop

    Hi greta - Are you using the Power BI Desktop June 2024 release 2.130.754.0 64-bit (June, 2024)? if yes, there is some fix is required at microsoft end which many are facing but it is not a bug

    you can try to uninstall and re-install May 2024 and check it if it is clearing your issue.

      That may be the issue. Unfortunataley I've spent the whole morning trying to uninstall PowerBI but when I launch the process, I get the error "close all powerBI instances", when the only instance opened is the installer. So I cannot confirm

        Hi greta -Yes, please check and close the opened instances of Power BI Desktop in your machine and uninstall it , if still issue exist, connect with your internal support team.
