PowerBI Desktop Crashes released Jan 29 2016 crashing

Wondering if only me, but just downloaded the latest Power BI desktop and it crashes without being to open anything. Anyone else having this issue? TIA

Just downloaded PowerBI Desktop x64 today and it crashes on start. Here's some details from the Event Viewer:

Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help as well. What else could I try?

    akjana Windows updates are managed by our sys admins. I do have .Net FW 4.6 installed though (just FYI)

    akjana resolved by upgrading to IE 11. Sorry couldn't provide further crash details.

      Hi,

      I am having the same issue, just get a splash screen when starting Power BI desktop and then errors out with Debug or Close. The below is error log from event viewer. Tried uninstalling, rebooting, re-downloading, re-installing and running as administrator in the exact same order a bunch of times. Still no luck !

       

      I have Core i7 2.8GHz Processor, IE11.0, Windows 7 Enterprise, .NET 4.5/4.6 and 32GB Memory . The requirements  meet Microsoft's specs, No clue whats going on here.

        I have same problem with you. Are you fixed it?
