Hey guys,
Anyone out there run into a behavior where the end date of slicers that have date fields does not automatically go to the latest date when the dataset is refreshed and new records are added?
I would like the end date to automatically go to the latest date so end users do not have to adjust the date slicer every time they see the report.

Hi @davidwc
Unfortunately, there is currently no way to automatically "move" a range-type slicer with a refresh .
You can only select related date slicers like :
Or to switch between the types of slicers with bookmarks:
The pbix with the example is attached.
(It is important to note that the design of the slicers and the transition should of course be much more high-quality, the sketch is only a demonstration of how it works technically.)
The guide for switching visuals with bookmarks is here :

what you need to do is the following :
before publshing the report to the service, make sure to clear the date slicer.
unfortunately you dont have the clear slicer icon on in the header icons of the slicer when date is used in the slicer.
so you can either remove the column and then drag it again to the slicer visual . this way it will be cleared.
another way, is to insert the clear all slicers button, click on it, then remove the button, this way you reset the date slicer.
let me know if this helps.
