Hello PowerBI Community,
While my technical ability - as related to PowerBI - has expanded dramatically since I started using the tool, I feel I am missing some the creative elements some creators are able to build into how their visualizations look.
In light of this, is anyone aware of any good resources or dashboard repositories where someone can see a bunch of different visualizations to help them get ideas about how to organize and design their dashboard? For example, Tableau has their public profiles where you can find dashboard examples pretty easy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Frazer,
Have you looked at the Power BI data stories: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Data-Stories-Gallery/bd-p/DataStoriesGallery
A good place to start to see the different types of dashboard designs out there.

Hi Frazer,
That’s a great question, and you’re absolutely right. While Power BI is incredibly powerful for analytics, it can sometimes feel a bit limiting when it comes to design creativity.
If you’d like to explore ways to make your dashboards more interactive and visually polished, you might want to take a look at Flexa Design, a custom visual available on AppSource.
Flexa Design lets you:
Build modern dashboard layouts with custom buttons, menus, and page navigation.
Add interactive elements like toggle buttons, range slicers, and bookmarks, no coding needed.
Customize colors, shapes, and backgrounds to give your reports a professional look similar to what you often see in Tableau dashboards.
You can start by dragging a field into Flexa Design, then use its Button Group and Bookmark features to create menu-style navigation or dynamic filtering.

It’s a great way to blend strong analytics with creative design inside Power BI.
Best,
Hi there, you can check this Power BI portfolio: https://vidi-corp.com/power-bi-portfolio/
It may be a great source of inspiration since includes multiple designs and examples of integrations
Absolutely agree—developing design skills is just as important as technical skills. I was in the same position when I started out.
One thing that really helped me was exploring free downloadable templates to spark ideas and learn effective design techniques. This website not only offers strong design inspiration but can also elevate your reports significantly.

Here are some standout features it offers:
Hey - design and layout is absolutly everything! You need to start from a solid foundation and try to keep consistancy as you create more dashobards. Also think about the problem your attempting to solve. For eg if you're trying to replace an excel report, then you should create a dashboard that mostly consists of a large table.
There are some great resources here with a bunch of examples. you can also download a free template to get started.
You can check out Mokkup.ai, a dashboard wireframing tool having a library of 150+ dashboard wireframes templates which can be customized according to teh requirements, you can apply custom theme as well.
Here is a good resource for Power Bi marketing templates, containing analysis for ( Google ads, Facebook, Linkedin, Amazon, Hubspot and many others)
