Hi BrokerDealer,

Are you trying to install Power BI Desktop, or opening some special Power BI report? Which account that you have used to open Power BI? Please switch to the admin account and check the issue again.

If Power BI exits unexpected, there would be system application log events created in Event Viewer, please first take a look at Event Viewer and see if we could find any related Events under Application category.

I downloaded Power BI from the portal. It seemed to install OK and put an Icon on my desktop.

When I clicked on the Icon it began to open, but then fizzled out, without any other notifications.

I am having no other problems with MS 365 apps or other programs.
