Power bi reports connected SharePoint are running slow

Hi Team,

Our power bi reports are connected to SharePoint which are running slowly and taking lot of time to refresh data from sharepoint.

Query 1) If we move excel files from SP to Azure will report performance increase ? If yes, please share if there is any document or link for moving files from SharePoint to Azure.

Query 2) Please suggest if there is any alternative solution.

@Anonymous , Data should be in import mode, because of excel? that should give the same performance in both case!
