Power bi Gateway compatibility

I need to install the power bi gateway on a windows server 2008 r2 and error is occurring at the time of installation, check the event view doies errors are pointed out:

    hi Anonymous,
    Make sure you have the latest version of .Net supported on Windows Server 2008 r2, this might resolve the issue.

      the machine is installed .NET Framework 4.0.30319, I installed previous versions 3.5, on my PC that is Windows 8.1 I have the .NET 4.0.30319 and functions normally

        Are you seeing any errors in the Gateway logs? 

        Data Management Gateway and PowerBIGateway logs are present under Application and Services Logs.
