Power Query shows non-zero values, Table View shows only zeros

This has happened to me a couple times now so it must be something that I'm doing in my transformations.

Import a "wide" excel file, reverse pivot the columns so that the months run down not across then split one column from "Measure & Month" to separate the "Measure" and the "Month".  Close and Apply and ... zeros.  Go back to the query, preview shows values, Close and Apply and ... zeros.  Data types are all correct - text for everything except the values which are numbers (1.2).  There are no "pure" zeros in the numbers.  Every "Value" has a non-zero number.

Greg,

Thanks for the reply but I said there are no "true" zeros in the data.

I acknowledge your confusion and mirror it.

Hi @jcwillia1

Please check that if your data format is whole number.

If is whole number, change it to decimal number, and and retain the corresponding bits.

@jcwillia1 Those don't appear to be the same data rows. Remember that preview only shows the first 1000 rows. Two things to try. One, in Table view, try sorting descending for your Value column (right-click, sort descending) and see if values show up. Second thing, in Power Query, click the dropdown for the Value column to filter and click "load more values" and see if 0's show up.
