Power Query not updating with source from SharePoint excel file

Hi,

I have a report that is connected to my SharePoint for an excel file. The excel file is automatically updated every hour with new and current data. 

I connected my source of that excel file in pbi desktop but when I transform my data, it does not show the current data that was uploaded today. 

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my source file in pbi updated to pull the current data?

I have tried the following:
1. delete and re-add the source in power query
2. confirm that the file in SharePoint is updated with new data added today
3. confirm that there are no error messages or warnings for my tables

Please help!
