Hi,
I need to clean up sensor data. I know that if the sensor data is a negative number or below a certain treshhold, it should be zero.
I do this with a conditional column, if below the treshhold I set them to zero. But there are also null values. So I do an if elsestatement for null = null.
But I can error for the rows which contain null. I have to replace errors and make them null again. Is there an another approch to this so I don't get errors?

@numersoz what is the data type of this column? Is it a number? Change it to the number and then apply the conditional logic.
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

Above post solve the problem but not sure why the otherway didn't work.
The data type was a decimal number.
Hi,
Thank you this did solve the problem. I am not sure why the otherway didn't work.
That's because if you compare null with any value, you are gonna get error.
So start checking the null values.
