Power KPI visual showing different colours in Service vs Desktop after update to v3.0.3.0
- 10 months ago
I received this response from the Power BI Custom Visuals Support team:
The behavior you’re observing is expected and relates to the current release state of the Power KPI visual. After a new version is published to AppSource, there is typically a short delay before it becomes fully available in production.
In this case, version 3.0.3.0 of Power KPI has been temporarily blocked from deployment due to a bug identified after publication. As a result, both Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Service are currently using version 2.0.0.0, even though AppSource may still display the newer version number in its description.
A new build of Power KPI containing the fix is planned to be released soon.
Please note that Power BI Desktop does not cache the visual to preserve an older version.Best regards,
Elena S.
