Power KPI matrix

I created a "Row-based KPIs" table using the custom Power KPI matrix. However, the KPI Category in below data table that I added to the visual Category is not showing up despite creating the relationship between this table and Actual Value table (by rows) using the KPI_ID.

Except for Category, all other headers - Date, Metric Name, Actual Value, Comparison Values (Target and Previous Month) and Variance are showing up as desired.

Also, I do not see 'Category' under the Format Visual unlike the sample PBI file with the instructions/explanations on the Power KPI matrix downloaded from the training video.

I am using the free latest Microsoft Power BI desktop version. My Actual Values for the KPI metrics are a mixture of data tables and measures.

I think you need some formats discussed using calculation groups

Calculation Groups- Measure Slicer, Measure Header Grouping, Measure to dimension conversion. Complex Table display : https://youtu.be/qMNv67P8Go0

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

    Appreciate your Kudos.

Thank you. Let me try out the Calculation Groups first. I will provide the sample pbi file if it does not work.
