Power Bi refresh options
Hi,
Hoping someone can help me to see what my options are for creating a scheduled refresh.
This is my current workflow:
Download a excel file from a web page and save it into a folder stored In OneDrive.
Access my Power BI desktop pbix file and press refresh to refresh the data source.
Republish the report to my workspace for other people to view.
What I am trying to do is cut out the part where I have to go into my pbix to refresh.
If this isn’t possible, would recreating my report directly in Power Bi online version (rather than Desktop) solve my problem?

Trebor84 , after you publish report/dataset, you can create a new report in the power bi service itself.
but as of now dataset changes you have to publish using the power bi desktop file only

Hi Trebor84
what's your datasource used in PowerBI? is the excel on OneDrive and you connect it with Web in Desktop? if yes, see

besides, I find links helpful for your reference, see
