Power Bi custom visual

Need Help in creating a Power bi custom visual i have completed the setup part but need help in creating the visual where i need date range on my x axis and discription boxes on y axis.

Thanks fior helping me out but wassnt suitable in my case, but i was able to find the a closer solution by following the steps in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7lFomQ7jh0&t=333s

The screen shot was taken from the same visual the visuall has too mush of hard coding unable to use the visual  for different type of data and unable to formating options
