Power Bi Slicer is not working as expected

Hi

I want to use Month Slicer as a "Between" Slide.  For that, I did add month number to my date table and brought the month number to slicer. It works OK. Then I want, when user select Year slicer with the current year user to not go more than current month with month slide.

For example: Let sey today is 31st October 2022. If I select Year 2022, he should be able to select only up to 10 because current month is October. For that, I brought a filter to month number slicer slide (For the moment I did not create a measure to get the current month number and I just add 10 in the filter as below).

Then Slide can move up to 10. When I move  up to 9 it shows data upto September but when I move to 10 it shows data up to December.

Selected up to 9

Selected up to 10

Maybe it is a Bug in the slicer, but can I know how to fix this or a workaround? I don’t want to change it from a slide because user is already comfortable with it.

@dayaratnep

Because you've chosen the max value the slicer has, when you select up to 10 it clears the filter rather than applying a filter up to 10. Seems a bit of a bug.

It looks like you're trying to immitate date in the past, but in your description you wanted them to select only up to current month, can you add a filter to the page or the slicer that uses 'date' and relative date, in the last 5 years? Will that meet your requirements?
