Power Bi Model refresh date time in Dashboard

Hi Team,

We have a Power Bi model published and scheduled five times a day. We do have couple of dashboards based on this model. We are trying to display the latest model refresh date and time in associated dashboards. Please help how to achieve this.

Scenario : Model refresh 8am et, 11am et and 3pm et

if I access dashboard from app between 8am et and 11am et dashboard should populate last refresh as date, 8am et  and

if I access dashboard from app between 11am et and 3pm et dashboard should populate last refresh as date, 11am et  and

if I access dashboard from app after 3pm et dashboard should populate last refresh as date, 3pm et

we try to follow some steps like creating new table and add refreshdate time, it is working as long as I open the dashboard and refresh but we are expecting happen it dynamically like as and when the model refreshed in app the dashboard also should reflect latest refresh date and time.

Sincerely,

Krishna.

Hi, @Anonymous

Do you follow the tutorial:

Add last refresh date to a Power BI report - Azure DevOps | Microsoft Docs

I don't understand your question. What's wrong with you?

Trying to clarify, you are doing something like storing GETDATE() in a table when the model refreshes, but that value isnt getting displayed on the reports unless the user hits the refresh button?  I'm I understanding the issue correctly?

If so, it could be a query cache issue.  You could try playing with those settings to see if that's why your date isn't updating as expected.
