Power Bi Desktp screen hangs
Hi All,
All of a sudden when I try to navigate from one page to another in Power Bi desktop,I get a completely white-blank screen or a partiall screen showing visuals in previous page. Version Iam having is 2.145.1105.0 64-bit (July 2025). Recently I copied visuals from one page to another page for a new development and I might have copied the group the visual belongs. Is the issue Iam facing because of above and if so what can I do to fix. The same pbix file opens without any issue on my colleague's system.
Thanks
Shree
ShreeVenkatesh , Please make sure you have enough RAM and Hard Disk space free when you are running Power Bi Desktop.
Also Make sure sure there is no Windows patch pending.
You can revert to the last month's version and check if that is working.

If the last month's version is working , you can log issue for new version - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
Hi ShreeVenkatesh,
Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Fabric Community Forum. Also, thanks to FBergamaschi, amitchandak, for those inputs on this thread. Here I provided some official Microsoft links those might be helpful to resolve your thread more quickly.
From what you described, it sounds like the issue might be tied to graphics rendering or possibly a specific visual that was copied over (especially if it was part of a group). Since the same PBIX works fine on your colleague's machine, we can rule out file corruption and focus on your local setup.Turn off hardware graphics acceleration: This setting often causes the kind of white/blank screen behaviour you're seeing:
- Go to File > Options and settings > Options
- Under Global > Display, check the box for “Disable hardware graphics acceleration”
- Restart Power BI and try navigating again.
Check the visuals you copied: If the problem started after copying visuals (especially grouped ones), try ungrouping them or temporarily removing them from the new page to see if the issue clears up.
Try using a previous version of Power BI Desktop: Just in case this is a bug with the July 2025 release, you can download the June 2025 version from the official archive and see if that helps: Power BI Desktop version archive
Optional: Update your graphics drivers: If none of the above work, it might be worth checking if your graphics drivers are up to date.
