Power Bi Desktop is So Slow
Whenever I open PowerBi desktop, without even importing any dataset into it, it starts lagging. I have tried reinstalling but same problem. I can't drag charts and graphs and they move immediately, any button or icon I click on takes a couple of seconds to respond. What could be the cause of this please?
My laptop specs are;
HP
Processor - 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz
RAM - 12.0 GB (11.7 GB usable)
OS - Windows 10 Home
I will really appreciate any help on this.

Snoue , How much memory is taken by browsers? Browsers can lot of memory, make sure power bi is having sufficient memory. If needed increase VM

Thanks for responding. I actually closed my browser to see if that would help but it did not

Snoue , Please check if there is windows update pending, I faced that once. Power bi was lagging and that got corrected after windows update
amitchandak I installed the pending updates, restarted my system but it is still lagging
