Power Bi Desktop Relationships between tables are nit shown in the graphical display of the data

Hello,

I have a working dataset within PBI Desktop with tables and relationships.
Until yesterday everything was fine and the relationships were shown in the graphical view of the dataModel.
BUT inbetween syncing to the Cloud I suddenly lost the display of the relationships.
The relationships are still there and I can see them by selecting "Manage relationships".
May be I touched someting by accident (I am not aware, but can be).

How can I get the relationships displayed again?
I could not find a button to do that.
I looked also in the web and got the hint to add a function via a button in the header/ribbon.
But I can also not open any menue to do that.
Any ideas what I can do?

Thank you in advance

Hi @joko29 ,

I have searched the web for some possible solutions and here are some suggestions:

  • One reason why the relationships might not be visible is that you have switched to a different layout in the Model view. You can check if this is the case by clicking on the Layouts button on the top right corner of the Model view and selecting the Default layout or another layout that shows the relationships. For more information, see Updated Model View.
  • Another reason why the relationships might not be visible is that you have zoomed out too much in the Model view and the relationship lines are too thin to see. You can try zooming in by using the slider on the bottom right corner of the Model view or by using Ctrl + mouse wheel. You can also adjust the thickness of the relationship lines by clicking on the Format button on the top right corner of the Model view and changing the Line width option. For more information, see Format relationship lines.
  • A third reason why the relationships might not be visible is that you have accidentally hidden them by clicking on the Hide All Relationships button on the top right corner of the Model view. You can unhide them by clicking on the same button again or by selecting a specific relationship and clicking on the Show/Hide button. For more information, see Hide or show relationships.

I just recognized, that when I move the tables in the graphic, the relationship comes back.
It is only hidden.
BUT/AND also the automatic layout does not work well any more.
The arrows go across each other .
It was much beter before.
I do not know hat happened.
I have version: PBI Desktop Version: 2.119.870.0 64-bit (Juli 2023)
