Power Bi Default Pie Chart now showing correct area
Above is default Power Bi pie chart. As you can see, the value is 120,810,502, which the pie chart calculates as 44.64%. However, there are two errors here,
1) The size of 120,810,502, while pie chart calculates as 44.64%, accounts for >50% of the area in terms of the pie chart, which is incorrect and misleading. Not sure whether there's something wrong with configuration or its an issue with the default chart.
2) 120,810,502, when manually calculated, is actually 42.09%, rather than the 44.64% that was automatically calculated. Again, not sure if its an error with the default chart, or my configuration.
Appreciate any help!

Hi @Zian ,
I should say,it's a limitation in the showing of a pie chart,once the ID number is above 100,you will find that althought the data is changing,but the propotion in the visual seems doesnt make any difference.

Please see link to sample .pbix file that illustrates the issue: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VtqyX3Zk0vPVIqU1J_x29epNDt7HIYkk/view?usp=sharing
This only happens with large datasets, hence why some of the responses couldn't replicate the issue. In the sample, I showed two datasets, one is the original, the latter being the same dataset, but with some of the rows being aggregated. The latter shows the correct %, and area, while the original shows incorrect % and area seems incorrect too.

@Zian
Check your measure that goes in the PIE chart and any filters applied. It is a configuration issue.
You can open a new page, insert a PIE chart, and test without any filters.
IF you could share a sample, I can check on it.

To share a PBIX file you can upload it to any cloud service and use the "share file" option (Onedrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud etc...)
