Power Bi - Business Central - "Unable to read data from the transport connection"

Hello,

We are now facing this error in a lot of Power BI reports with Business Central as a data source without finding any answer or solution :

DataSource.Error: OData: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. Details: DataSourceKind=Dynamics365BusinessCentral DataSourcePath=Dynamics365BusinessCentral

Can we have support from someone on it ?
Thanks in advance,

In my case we are doing "simple" operations
I read 2 - 3 tables from BC. Fact tables less than 100k rows. So it shouldn't provoke a memory problem.

I tryed putting Table.Buffer and Table.StopFolding, but the problem remains.

Memory usage goes to the roof.

I also extended virtual memory. Same problem.

My guess is that PBI is tryin to fold queries into BC, despite my Buffer and StopFolding.

One question, is StopFolding only for SQL or for any foldable source?

Hi, @AnthonyLE

this problem seems to be a known issue for BC for several years.  some of them find some soutions, others didn't.

refer: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Service/PowerBI-Service-error-OData-Unable-to-read-data-fr...

Also make sure sure that you have the latest version of the “.NET” Framework installed on your pc. if none of it helps then try to contact support or raise issue in the issue forum.
